CEO & Founder
Shedlight Creative is led by Anthony Balmforth — the man behind the brand and your go-to creative partner. A seasoned producer, director, and editor, Anthony brings over a decade of experience crafting sharp, story-led content that actually connects. Originally from New Zealand, he spent six years honing his craft in Toronto’s fast-paced creative scene before landing in Vancouver. Over the years, he’s worked with global brands, growing startups, and agencies across North America — bringing the same level of care and creativity to every project, big or small. Anthony leads every project hands-on, from first idea to final cut. He’s not just running the show behind the scenes — he’s in it with you, helping shape the story, steer the strategy, and make the process as collaborative (and painless) as possible.
